Disclaimer

All screenshots in the article were taken in the Dutch version of Yuki.

On the home screen of Financials, you see the financial monitor. This monitor gives you an up-to-date status of your net revenue, net result, operating costs, bank balances and your cash balance. Of course, in Financials you can also use the more accounting functions such as Profit and loss, Assets and liabilities, Trial balance, Assets, Debtors and Creditors, VAT and the Chart of accounts, among others.

The Financials functionality is available when a user with the 'Management' role has selected the minimum version of Yuki (Minimal) or the bundle Small, Medium, Large or Unlimited through the Yuki Store in the domain.

ATTENTON!

In the minimal version of Yuki (Minimal), only the data in the Financial Monitor can be viewed. It is not possible to zoom in further on this data.

The feature Yuki Analytical accounting is integrated into the Financials functionality.

With Yuki Analytical accounting, you have the ability to book analytically. Analytical entries are processed extracomptably, which means that they are not actually posted to GL accounts in your administration. These entries of costs and revenues are assigned to certain dimensions such as cost centers and cost carriers according to an analytical plan (view).

A well-known example of cost centers are departments within a company, an example of cost carriers are finished products to which costs are associated.

The Yuki Analytical accounting feature is only available when a user with the 'Management' role has selected the Large or Unlimited bundle through the Yuki Store in the domain.

Click on the Financials icon in the navigation bar and the Financials home screen is opened:

In this home screen, you see a dropdown menu with the main functions of Financials.

Report

This overview, also called the “income statement,” gives you a more detailed picture of how your company is doing. By default, an annual statement is shown here but you can also choose to break down by month or compare multiple fiscal years.

Assets and liabilities

Also called your company's “balance sheet. This statement gives a picture of what the company has invested in, how many receivables and payables it still has, and what the company's assets are. Again, you can choose an annual statement, a period statement and a comparison of fiscal years.

The trial balance sheet in Yuki is the starting point for checking individual GL accounts.
