ING bank export files

Modified on Thu, 18 Jun at 2:38 PM

The ING bank allows you to export banking transactions from a selected time period via its online banking portal. You can then upload the exported file to Yuki so that the transactions are automatically processed in your administration.

Check date of most recently imported transaction

Before exporting transactions, it’s important to check the date up to which bank transactions have already been processed in Yuki. You can find this date in the last column of the overview of all bank accounts in Yuki.

If the bank account in question does not yet exist in Yuki, it will be created automatically when you upload the file. After that, you only need to specify which ledger the bank account belongs to.

Supported file formats

To import ING bank transactions into Yuki, the bank file must be provided in the following format:

  • MT940 (recommended)
  • CAMT.053 (recommended)
  • CSV (comma-separated file)

We recommend using MT940 or CAMT.053 whenever possible. Use the CSV format only if exporting in MT940 or CAMT.053 is not available.

One file per bank account

Transactions must be submitted per bank account. This means that you must export and upload a separate bank file for each bank account.

ING credit card statements

Statements for an ING credit card can be submitted via a downloadable PDF file. This file can then be processed in Yuki.

Automatic processing via ING accounting link

In addition to manually exporting and uploading bank files, you can also use the ING accounting link.

With this link, you no longer need to manually download and upload bank files. Bank transactions are automatically retrieved and processed in Yuki, ensuring your administration always have up-to-date bank data.

Download ING bank file

You have to go through the following steps in order to download a bank file of your corporate account with the ING bank:

  • >You log in to online banking with the ING bank (https://mijnzakelijk.ing.nl/login)

  • Select the corporate payment account
  • Click 'Af- en bijschrijvingen downloaden'
  • Enter the start date and the end date of the period for which you want to download your transactions
Maximally 18 months back in time if you at least were already using online banking during that period. If you are only using online banking for 3 months then three months is the maximum.
  • Select the 'MT940' , 'CAMT.053' or 'Kommagescheiden CSV' file format
  • Click the 'Download' button
  • You can now saved the file.
In most browsers the file will be saved in the 'Downloads' folder.

Upload ING bank file to Yuki

We recommend that you do not open or edit the bank file. This ensures that the file structure remains intact and allows Yuki to process the file correctly.

You can then upload the downloaded bank file to Yuki via the PO Box or send it as an attachment by email to <yourdomainname>@yukiworks.nl.

The electronic bank file will be automatically processed in your administration.

For a detailed description of uploading files in Yuki, see article Upload files from PO Box.
