Login name and password security

Nmbrs Accounting implements a username/password mechanism combined with two-factor authentication (2FA) to identify users and control access within the Nmbrs Accounting platform.

Nmbrs Accounting has implemented a number of procedures and tools to ensure that this data is as secure as possible:

• Password policy
• Password storage
• Timeout when entering incorrect password
• Forgot login name
• Change login name (email address)
• Forgot password
• Change password.

A user can change their username or password themselves. Users can also reset their password if they have forgotten it.

Login screen language settings

When logging in, the user can select the desired language:

• Available languages: Which languages are available and what the default language is depends on the domain being used (such as accounting.nmbrs.nl).
• Remembering preferences: The selected language is stored in a browser cookie. As a result, the login screen will automatically display in the correct language on the next visit.
