If you've forgotten your password, you can request a new one by clicking on Forgot password on the login screen.

The following screen is opened:

On this screen, you have two options for setting a new password.
To be sure, check the email address you use to log in to Nmbrs Accounting. An email will be sent to this address containing a link that you can use to create a new password.

Reset password
Once you click on the Reset pasword option, you will receive an email with the subject line 'Request to change your password'.
This email will be sent to the inbox of your user account and to any recovery email addresses you have set up in your user account settings.
This email contains a “Create New Password” button, which:
- is valid for 15 minutes (if you already had a password) or 24 hours (if this is the first time you’re setting a password)
- and can only be used once. If you haven’t used the link and click on 'Reset Password' again, the older link will automatically become invalid. Only the newest link is valid until it expires.
Valid 'Create new password' link
If the Create new password link is valid, clicking on it will redirect you to a page where you can enter your new password.

When you enter the new password, you’ll see which password rules you need to follow (highlighted in red) and which ones you’ve already met (highlighted in green). The rules may vary depending on your domain’s password policy.
Once you’ve confirmed the password, you can click on the Change password button. If this is the first time you’re setting a password, you’ll be redirected immediately to the application you wanted to open; otherwise, you’ll need to use the new password to log in to the application.
Invalid link to 'Create new password'
If the Create new password link is invalid, you’ll see this screen:

As soon as you click on Click here to request a new link, you’ll be taken back to the 'Forgot password' screen, where you can select 'Reset password'.
One-time login link
If you select the One-time login link option, you’ll receive an email with the subject line Login link for {Application Name}'.
This email will be sent to the inbox of your user account and also to the inboxes of any recovery email addresses you may have set up in your user account settings.
This login link in the email:
- is valid for 5 minutes from the moment it is requested
- can only be used once.
Valid login link
If the link is valid, clicking it will redirect you to the application you want to access.
ATTENTION!
If you have enabled two-factor authentication (2FA) and the device has not been recognized for 30 days, you will also be prompted to complete the two-factor authentication screen.
Invalid login link
If the login link is invalid, you will see the following screen as soon as you click on it:

As soon as you click on Click here to request a new link you’ll be taken back to the 'Forgot password' screen, where you can select the 'One-time login link' option.
