With the Rabobank accounting link you can automatically process all your bank transactions in your administration in Yuki. No more downloading and uploading! In this way, your bank in Yuki is updated daily, so you can manage your clients' payment behaviour much more accurately.

The accounting link is used to submit the transactions of the corporate payment and savings accounts, foreign currency accounts and G accounts.

Rabobank bank transactions are automatically retrieved by Yuki once a day (including holidays) between 3 a.m. and 3 p.m..

TIP!

Yuki has also implemented an accounting link with ABN AMRO, Rabobank and ING.

The Rabobank accounting link must be realised from the domain in Yuki.

The accounting link is only possible for bank accounts within the Rabo Business Banking Professional environment.

Only a user with the 'Management' role in the domain can create, change or stop the Rabobank accounting link.

In addition, this user must have one of the following roles within Rabo Business Banking (Pro):

  • the role of 'Owner' with an owner's card
  • the 'BeheerderPlus' role with authorisation to link the accounts for Rabo BoekhoudKoppeling

A user with a 'Backoffice' role in the domain can only view the overview of realised bank links.

Create new Rabobank accounting link from Yuki

Go through the following steps to create the new accounting link:

  1. Grant a one-time authorisation to retrieve bank transactions from your Rabobank environment
  2. Link bank account(s)
  3. If necessary, manually import transactions via accounting link.

The new Rabobank accounting link can be stopped at any time for one, several or all bank accounts.

Step 1: Grant a one-off authorisation to retrieve bank transactions from the Rabobank environment

Go through steps 1 and 2 to create the new Rabobank accounting link or watch the Rabobank boekhoudkoppeling demo.

You have to indicate from Yuki for which (already created) Rabobank accounts in your domain you grant authorisation to retrieve bank transactions through the accounting link.

You must grant authorisation once by following the steps below:

  • Move your mouse over the Settings icon in the navigation bar and then click Bank Connections under Integrations
  • In the screen now opened, click the Add Rabobank boekhoudkoppeling button

  • Grant a one-time authorisation to retrieve account information (read bank transactions) by clicking the Connect button

  • You will now be redirected from Yuki to the Rabobank login screen
  • Log in in Rabo Business Banking Professional or the Rabo App

  • Read the info about Rekeninginformatie ophalen
  • Click the Starten button
  • Select the bank account(s) you want to link
  • Click the Naar ondertekenen button
  • Enter the signing code and click the Ondertekenen button.

Authorisation has now been granted for the selected bank accounts, making them accessible to Yuki.

The authorised bank accounts have disappeared from the Authorisation required section and can now be found in the Unlinked Rabobank accounts section.

Step 2:  Link bank account(s)

You have to indicate from Yuki which already authorised bank account(s) should be linked via the accounting link.

ATTENTION!

The Unknown Rabobank accounts section shows all bank accounts in your Rabobank environment that you have just authorised in step 1, but that have not yet been created in your domain in Yuki. By clicking the > for the relevant bank account, the Rabobank bank account is automatically created in your domain and directly linked via the Rabobank accounting link.

You can link an authorised bank account by following the steps below:

  • Move your mouse over the Settings icon in the navigation bar and then click Bank Connections under Integrations
  • In the screen now opened, click the Add Rabobank boekhoudkoppeling button
  • Select the bank account(s) you want to link
  • Then click the Link bank account button.

The bank transactions of the linked accounts will be automatically retrieved by Yuki on a daily basis from this moment onwards.

The linked bank accounts have disappeared from the Unlinked Rabobank accounts section and can now be found in the Linked Rabobank accounts section.

Step 3:  Manually import bank transactions via accounting link (optional)

When starting a new administration, Yuki offers the possibility to manually retrieve, if necessary, all bank transactions that have taken place before the realisation of the Rabobank accounting link.

The bank transactions can thus be retrieved up to 15 months back.

Move your mouse over the Settings icon in the navigation bar and then click Bank Connections under Integrations.

In the srreen now opened, click > for the relevant bank account.

The following screen is opened:

ATTENTION!

It may happen that the bank account is among the linked bank accounts and bank transactions are retrieved through the new accounting link but the old bank transactions cannot be imported manually. The following message is then displayed in the screen above: "Import is not possible when the bank account is not connected".

To solve this problem, tick the corresponding bank account under 'Linked Rabobank accounts' and click the 'Disconnect' button. Under 'Unlinked Rabobank accounts', tick the relevant bank account again and click the 'Link bank account' button.

The old bank transactions can now be imported manually again.

Yuki automatically fills in the From date (start of the current year) and To date (to today's date). You can change these dates if you wish.

Click the Import button to import all transactions from the relevant Rabobank account for the specified period.

The following message appears on the screen when importing is completed:

The imported bank file can now be found on the 'Files' tab of the 'Bank' folder in the Archive.
