Data processing agreement for entrepreneurs

Modified on Tue, 28 Nov 2023 at 02:45 PM

With the introduction of the GDPR, it is necessary for an accounting firm to enter into a so-called data processing agreement with you. On May 25, 2018 this new agreement came into force at the accounting firm.

The data processing agreement contains the agreements made about the processing of personal data, the procedure for data leaks, the right to audit and the technical and organisational security measures taken in the software.

The data processing agreement has to be confirmed by an authorised signatory. Only the owner of a domain and users with the 'Management' role can be an authorised signatory.

Once the accounting firm has made the data processing agreement available, a pop-up will appear on the signatory's screen when he or she logs in to the domain.

For a detailed description see article Confirm data processing agreement for domain.

Only the owner of the domain and a user with the 'Management' role can view, print and/or download the confirmed data  processing agreement. The agreement always remains available in the domain.

The confirmed data processing agreement can be opened from different places in Yuki:

  • Hover your mouse over the Archive icon on the navigation bar and then click the Other financial folder.
    Click the Documentation tab.
  • The user that has confirmed the processing agreement clicks the Settings icon on the navigation bar and then clicks My profile in the screen now opened.
In the screen now opened click Documents created below Contacts.

In the screen now opened click the subject of the data processing agreement to view. print and/or download it.

For the back office the data processing agreement is not visible in the domain.
