With the introduction of the GDPR, it is necessary for an accounting firm to enter into a so-called data processing agreement with you. On May 25 , 2018 this new agreement came into force at the accounting firm. This agreement must comply with the latest European privacy laws and regulations.

The data processing agreement contains the agreements made about the processing of personal data, the procedure for data leaks, the right to audit and the technical and organisational security measures taken in the software.

Once the accountancy firm has made the data processing agreement available, it must be confirmed by the owner of the domain or a user with the 'Management' role.

TIP!

The data processing agreement will always remain available in the domain and can be viewed, printed and/or downloaded by the signatory at any time.

For a detailed description see article Data processing agreement for entrepreneurs.

Once the accounting firm has made the data processing agreement available, the following pop-up will appear on the signatory's screen when he or she logs in to the domain.

Click on the Sign link.

The following screen is opened:

In the now-opened screen, the signatory confirms the agreement by checking the box in front of the line I have read the data processing agreement (GDPR) and hereby accept the agreement as an authorized signatory on behalf of [name domain] and then click on the Accept button.

The following message is shown:

ATTENTION!

The confirmed data processing agreement can be found in the domain on the Documentation tab in the Other financial folder in the Archive.
