Create reminder layout in foreign language

In Yuki, it's possible to create English, French, or German sales invoices and reminders, and then send them manually or automatically to your customers.

To create a reminder or demand in a foreign language, you need to follow these steps:

create English, French, or German reminder layout
- per level: payment notification (1), reminder (2), demand for payment (3), and formal notice (4)
- by payment method: direct debit, no direct debit, or both
translate the 'Heading' field for a contact (if the placeholder [heading] is used in the text of a letter and/or email).

Access to settings

All settings for your reminder layouts are centralized within your domain and divided into logical categories.

To access these settings:

click on the Settings icon in the navigation bar
in the now-opened screen, click on Reminder settings
then click on the Layouts tab.

Create reminder layout

To create a new reminder layout in English, French, or German, click on the New layout button in the top left corner of your screen.

Regeneration default layouts

If you have removed the default layout from one or more reminder levels, you can always regenerate it (in the language you have set as a user under 'Personal Preferences') by clicking on the Regenerate default layouts button.

In the now-opened screen, you enter the settings for the English, French, or German reminder layout in the General and Settings sections.

The reminder layout settings to be entered are described below.

General section

Description

Give your layout a recognizable description. When you leave this field blank, Yuki will automatically fill in the following description: 'Automated reminder, level 1', or 'rappel automatique, niveau 1'.

Administration

Indicate for which administration the layout is intended (if you have more than one administration).

Language

It is possible to choose a reminder or demand for payment in English, French, or German for Dutch domains.

Settings section

Add copy of invoice

A copy of the invoice is added by default. You can disable this if required.

Reminder level for automated reminders:

1 - Payment notification
2 - Reminder
3 - Demand for payment
4 - Formal notice.

Use this layout for direct debit or non-direct debit?

Both
Direct debit
Non-automatic direct debit.

TIP!

Make sure you have created a layout in English, French, or German for each payment method for your invoices per reminder level.

TO AUTOMATICALLY RETRIEVE THE SUBJECT AND TEXT OF THE LETTER AND EMAIL IN THE SELECTED LANGUAGE, CLICK ON THE 'DEFAULT' BUTTON.

This way, you can quickly create the default reminder layouts for all languages!

After setting any other settings for this reminder layout, click on the Save button.

When a reminder layout has already been created with the same language, reminder level, and payment method, the following message appears:

To view a screen preview of the new reminder layout, click on the Screen preview button.

The created English, French, and/or German reminder layout now appears in the list of selectable reminder layouts on the 'Layouts' tab.
