Document deletion by user

In Yuki, whether you can delete a document yourself depends on its status and document type. When you delete a document, it is not immediately permanently deleted but moved to the trash bin (Deleted documents).

What can you delete?

These are scanned or uploaded documents awaiting processing by Yuki.


To delete a document:

  • click on the Archive icon in the navigation bar
  • open the To be handled by Yuki folder
  • hover your mouse over the line of the relevant document
  • click on the button with the three dots
  • then select the Delete menu option from the dropdown menu.



Processed non-financial document in Archive

For non-financial documents (such as general correspondence or documents of the 'Standard' type), no financial transactions are posted.


To delete a processed non-financial document:

  • select a non-financial document from the Archive

    In the opened document, you will now see various buttons at the top of your screen. Depending on your role in Yuki, more or fewer buttons are available.


  • click on the Delete this record button (trash can) to delete the document.



Processed financial document (invoices, etc.) in Archive

To prevent errors from occurring in the VAT return or with payments that have already been matched, you, as a regular user, cannot delete financial documents yourself.


Back office

You have the rights to delete the document directly.


User

Click on the Create question for backoffice button in the opened document. Indicate in your message that the document needs to be deleted. The back office will assess the situation and then delete the document for you.
