Sales items

All screenshots in the article were taken in the Dutch version of Yuki.


Since you will be creating and processing sales invoices in Yuki, you must first add the sales items.


You can also view a number of reports here showing all created sales items, the sales history, and the total sales per item.


A created sales item is always automatically added to the default price list of the selected administration within a domain. 



Add new sales item todifferent price list

Once you have created multiple price lists in an administration, you can select the correct price list from the administration when creating a sales item.



Add existing sales item to different price list

Sales items can be added to a different price list within the domain at any time.

Access to Sales items

To access:

  • click on the Sales icon in the navigation bar
  • then click on Sales items

On this screen, select the sales items report you want to view.

The following reports are available:



AVAILABLE USER ACTIONS

From a report, a user can:

  • create a new sales item
  • download all data in the shown columns as a CSV file (Excel) or copy to the clipboard
  • view the total overview of a sales item
  • search for data.



Create new sales item

To create an new sales item, click on the New sales item button.

Download data as CSV file or copy to clipboard

To download all data in the shown columns:

  • click on the Download button (Cloud icon with down arrow)
  • then select Download as CSV or Copy to clipboard from the dropdown menu.


The name of the downloaded CSV file is

  • SalesItemsList-context_Alle-verkoopartikelen_[datum van vandaag].csv
  • SalesItemsList-context_Verkoophistorie_[datum van vandaag].csv
  • SalesItemsList-context_Totale-verkoop-per-artikel_[datum van vandaag].csv.


View total view of sales item

To view the total view of a sales item:

  • click on the description of the sales item

    OR

  • hover your mouse over the line of the relevant sales item
  • click on the button with the three dots
  • then select the View sales item menu option from the dropdown menu.


In the now-opened screen, a so-called total overview of the sales item can be viewed.

The following items, among others, are shown here: details of the sales item, price list(s) to which the sales item has been added, price agreement(s) with customers for the sales item, key figures for the sales item, revenue per month, revenue per year, last invoices and top sales.

Search for data

The search bar can be used to search for:

  • (part of a) name
    The search result now shows all data in which this name has been entered in, for example, the 'Description', 'Subject', 'Name', 'Company name' or 'Contact' field.
  • number
    The search result now shows all data where the number is entered in, for example, the 'Description', 'Subject', 'Name', 'Company name' or in a numeric field such as 'Invoice number'.
  • amount
    You can search for an exact amount by entering this amount in the search field, for example, '54,45' or '54.45'.
  • date
    You can search for a specific date by entering it as:
    • 31/08/2020
    • 31-08-2020
    • 310820
    • 31082020.


Targeted search

You can also perform a targeted search using different search terms. After each search, the search result can be further specified by adding a new search term.
