Within the Nmbrs Accounting portal, various actions are available to manage contracts, access rights, internal communication, and domain-level settings.
Permissions and roles
- Portal administrator: Can perform, modify, and manage all actions and settings at the domain level.
- Portal back office: Can view settings, announcements, and domain information, but cannot make changes or perform actions.
Contract & Status management
- Change contract: adjust the domain’s contract, terminate the contract, or archive the domain.
ATTENTION!
Only the domain owner has the authority to terminate a registration contract.
(see article Archive domain or terminate contract of domain) - Change domain status: change a domain’s status from “Setup” to “Active” once setup is complete.
(see article Change status of domain) - Transfer a domain: transfer ownership of the domain to another owner or firm.

Access Management & Permissions
- Block access to a domain: temporarily block access for the customer (for example, in case of overdue payments).
(see article Block access to domain) - Shield access to a domain: limit view or edit permissions within the domain.
(see article Shield access to domain) - Enable self-accounting: enable the 'Sefl-accounting' feature for the customer.
(see article Activate self-accounting for domain) - Manage accountant features: enable or disable specific advanced accounting features for this domain.

Team Management & Assignment
Assign relevant employees: assign specific office staff to the domain (such as the BO Manager, BO Backup, and BO Controller).

Internal Communication & Notes
- Add a back office message: create an internal notification. Back office staff will see this as a pop-up as soon as they open the domain.
(see article Add back office message to domain) - Add a comment: record specific customer agreements or the contract history. These notes are visible only on the domain’s management page.

A user with the 'Portal administrator' or 'Portal back office' role can click on the URL of the domain to open the domain directly to enter the administration profile, for example.
The screen to enter and/or change the details (settings) of a domain is opened as follows:
- automatically immediately after creating a new domain
- In the accountant portal, click on Management and then click on Domains. Then click on the name of the domain.
- In the accountant portal, click on Management and then click on Domains. Then hover your mouse over the line of the domain in question, click on the button with the three dots, and then select View domain details from the menu.
The following screen is opened:

To enter and/or change the details (settings) of the domain, click on the Edit button of the corresponding section.
