Transfer domain (customer) to new accountant (firm)

When a customer's domain needs to be transferred to a new accountant from another firm, there may be two situations:

  • the customer transfers to an accountant who also uses Yuki
  • the customer transfers to an accountant who does not use Yuki.


Transfer domain (customer) to new accountant using Yuki

A domain transfer is only possible if both the current and the new accountant are registered in the accountant portal of the relevant firm.


Follow these steps to transfer a customer from one of your own portals in Yuki to the portal of another new accountant (firm):

  • Please send an email to support@yuki.nlwith the following information:
    • Current accountant
      Name, Mail address and Back office role
    • New accountant
      Name, Mail address and Back office role
    • Entrepreneur
      Name, Mail address and User role.
  • Once the above information has been received, the transfer document will first be sent to the accountant who requested the relocation via email
  • All parties involved must sign the transfer document.
    You must sign in using the email address you use as your username.

    Signing authority
    • Both accountants must have the “Portal administrator” role
    • The entrepreneur must have the 'Management' role.

  • Once the transfer document signed by all parties has been received, the domain will be transferred to the new accountant’s portal.

    Transferring a domain to the accountant portal of the other new accountant is only performed by Yuki employees.


Transfer domain (customer) to new accountant not using Yuki

In case the other new accountant does not work with Yuki, it is advisable to use the export options within the respective domain. 


A user with the 'Back office' role in the domain can download all financial transactions (XAF file) that can be used by the other office. This export can be created per administration.

A user with the 'Management' (entrepreneur) role in the domain can export all documents and bank files from the archive for each administration.

He or she will receive an email (at the email address used to log in) containing a link within twenty-four hours. This link can be used to log in and then download the archive.
