The ‘Not linked’ or ‘Non project related transactions’ overview shows all documents and transactions that have not yet been linked to a project.
Documents (purchase and sales invoices) and transactions (bank transactions and general journal entries) that are not shown in this overview can also be linked to a project via the general ledger card.
Hover your mouse over the Projects icon in the navigation bar and then click on Not linked.
The following screen is opened:
In this screen you can use the following buttons:
- Select the period for which you want to view financial details.
- Click on the Search button to search for a document or transaction to be linked by Subject, Contact, Invoice number or GL account.
- Switch between showing or not showing a screen preview of the selected document.
- Toggle between showing all documents and transactions to be linked, profit and loss (operating costs related accounts) or gross margin (revenue and cost of revenue related accounts).
- View the yet to be linked documents and transactions of a particular administration or of all administrations in the domain.
- Download the overview shown as a CSV file (Excel).
- Print the screen shown.
Link document or transaction
To link a document or transaction to a project, click on the Link documents icon behind the corresponding line.
Each user can only link a document or transaction with a project to which he or she has access.
ATTENTION!
A bank statement, cash statement or credit card statement cannot be linked to a project.
The list of active projects appears. In this list of active projects, select the project to which you want to link the document or transaction. The document or transaction in question now disappears from the list of not linked documents and transactions.
Only a user with financial rights (‘Financial administration’ and ‘External accountant’), the ‘Management’ role or a user with the ‘Back office’ role in the domain can possibly move a linked document or transaction to another project or split the transactions of an invoice (purchase and sales) that has yet to be linked and link it to different projects by clicking on the Link/edit transactions icon behind the line.
