In Yuki, a project allows you to enter a budget for sales and purchases. This budget is for the entire duration of the project (not per year).

In this overview, you can view the progress of all projects in terms of budgets and differences from actual sales.

Each user can only view the contribution margin of a project to which he or she has access.

Hover your mouse over the Projects icon in the navigation bar and then click on Contribution margin.

The following screen is opened:

In this screen you can use the following buttons:

  1. Select here the period for which you want to view the projects.
  2. Choose here on which you want to filter the projects; all projects, my projects, administrator or contact.
  3. Then enter the actual selection criterion. Clicking on the Search button will apply the filter to the list.
  4. Switch between showing or not showing the active (current) projects.
  5. Switch between showing or not showing projects with a total amount of 0.00 euros.
  6. Switch between showing profit and loss (operating costs related accounts) or gross margin (revenue and cost of revenue related accounts).
  7. View the contribution margin of projects of a particular administration or of all administrations in the domain.
  8. Change  the columns shown in the overview.
  9. Download the shown overview as a CSV file.

The Margin column indicates the difference between sales (sales accounts) and purchases (cost and purchase accounts).

The (Margin) % column indicates the margin as a percentage of sales.

The Budget margin column indicates the difference between the budget of sales (revenue accounts) and the budget of purchases (cost and purchase accounts).

The (Budget margin) % column indicates the budget margin as a percentage of the revenue budget.

To show the differences compared to the actual revenue you can turn on the columns 'Difference revenue', 'Difference Purchase' and 'Difference margin'.

In this overview you can sort all columns except ‘Budget revenue’, 'Budget purchase’, ‘Budget margin’ and (Budget margin) ‘%’, ascending or descending.

To view the financial details of a project, click on the project name or on > in front of the project.

By clicking on > in front of non-project related transactions at the bottom of the overview you will see in the Not linked overview all documents and transactions in the administration that are not yet linked to a project.
