Bulk mail

Modified on Fri, 03 Nov 2023 at 11:36 AM

It is possible to send large amounts of emails from Yuki to your contacts, for example for a marketing campaign. You can make use of socalled placeholders (mailmerge codes), these are automatically replaced by data of the contact (company or person) where to the email is sent (for example the contact name). Before you send bulk mail you have to specify which email address is shown as sender. This email address (of the sender) has to be validated by Yuki.

All users except a user with the 'Back office;' role in the domain or the 'Purchase' or 'HR' role can send bulk mail.

Hover your mouse over the Contacts icon in the navigation bar and then click on Bulk mail

The following screen is opened:

The following fields are of importance:

  • Document: you select the document to be send (only text and HTML documents) from the archive. The content and the subject of the document will also be the content and the subject of the email message respectively.
  • Recipients: determine whether only the selected contacts, all suppliers, all customers or only the contacts with a tag will receive the bulk mail. Further specify the tag(s) and the contacts when you choose for the latter.
  • Archive: it is also possible to archive the mailmerge per mail.

Click on the History button in order to view the bulk mail that has already been sent before.

Validate email address (email address of sender)

If no email address has been validated yet in order to use as email address of the sender then you have to click on Click here to validate an email address behind the Sender field.

The following screen is opened:

Here you have enter the email address that has to be validated and the name as it has to be shown as the sender of the mail. After clicking on the Send button you have to click on the OK button.

The following screen is opened:

Next you click on the link in the validation email in your mailbox in order to validate the email address.

After validation, open Bulk mail again and the validated email address has been entered.

By clicking on the Edit button an overview of all validated email addresses is shown. Here you can add new email addresses, change the name of the email addresses present or delete email addresses from the list.
