All screenshots in the article were taken in the Dutch version of Yuki.

In Yuki, it is possible to create English, French or German sales invoices and reminders and/or demands for payment and then send them manually or automatically to your customers.

To create a (recurring) sales invoice in a foreign language, complete the following steps:

Access to settings

All settings for your invoice layouts are centralized within your domain and divided into logical categories.

To access these settings:

  • click on the Settings icon in the navigation bar
  • in the now-opened screen, click on Sales settings
  • then scroll to Invoice layouts.

Create invoice layout

To create a new invoice layout in English, French or German, click on the New layout button.

The following screen is opened:

Select the invoice layout template by hovering the mouse over the appropriate template and clicking on the Choose template button.

The following screen is opened:

To the right of the invoice shown, enter the settings for the English, French or German invoice layout.

ATTENTION!

For all templates whose name starts with 'Invoice template...', enter the settings in the General section.

The following describes the invoice layout settings to be entered.

Description

Give your layout a recognizable description.

Company

Indicate for which administration the layout is intended (if you have more than one administration).

Language

It is possible in Dutch domains to opt for an invoice in English, French or German.

After selecting the language, you will immediately see that the text on the invoice is shown in the selected language.

Attachment

Here you can link an attachment to the invoice layout (e.g. general terms and conditions) from the archive.

Preview screen

When you are done with the invoice layout, click on the Save button to save your changes.

Then view the screen preview to see if all the changes have produced the required result by clicking on >Preview.

The created English, French or German invoice layout now appears in the list of selectable invoice layouts:

TIP!

The subject and text of the email must be manually translated into English, French or German.

For a detailed description, see article Email template (invoice layout).
