Example of bank inconsistency

Yuki skips transactions of a given date if transactions have already been imported on that date and after that date.

Search for bank inconsistency

Go through the following steps:

  • Calculate the difference between the bank's closing balance and Yuki's check closing balance: 842.90 - 816.61 = 26.29 euros.
  • Use the search bar to find if this amount is duplicated,
  • The closing balance on 11-07-2012 is 2430.58 euros.
  • Click on the date 23-08-2012 and the imported transactions will be shown. Then right-click and open the file shown in the upper right corner of the screen.

  • The opening balance of the bank file has the date 10-07-2012. The first transaction line shows the date 02-07-2012 with an amount of 26.29 euros. This is the difference you calculated.

Action to be taken
So the transaction has not been imported. If transaction lines from statements are not imported, click in the opened statement on Click here for more information to find back which transaction lines are involved.

Although the transaction is not a duplicate, it is shown in that list. Click on the date.

Click on the Import button.

ATTENTION!

Click on the red triangle with the exclamation mark at the top left of the screen to have the bank inconsistency recalculated.

The bank inconsistency is now resolved!
