Once a bank account is linked to Ponto, all bank transactions of the relevant bank account (including opening and closing balances) are automatically added to the administration every day.

Only payment accounts can be linked through Ponto. Once a bank account is linked, the transactions of that day are automatically retrieved. Thereafter, bank transactions will be retrieved every 6 hours by automatic synchronisation of the bank account.

However, if necessary, you can manually:

  • retrieve past bank transactions (up to 180 days back) directly
  • retrieve past bank transactions (up to 180 days back) at a later time

  • if required, synchronise bank transactions (up to 6 hours back).

A user with the 'Back Office' role in the domain and a user with the 'Management' role; can both manually retrieve past transactions (up to 180 days back).

The following message will appear on your screen:

If you want to retrieve past bank transactions later, click on the Maybe later button.

Manually synchronise transactions of linked bank account

Every 6 hours, the bank transactions of each linked bank account are automatically synchronised.

However, it is possible to manually synchronise bank transactions up to 6 hours back at any time.

ATTENTION!

Ponto accepts manual synchronisation only once every half hour.

Click on the Bank icon in the navigation bar and then, in the now-opened screen, click on the bank account number of the bank account whose bank transactions you want to synchronise.

ATTENTION!

A banner will appear that synchronisation is in progress.

After about five minutes, a banner will appear that the transactions have been synchronised.

Then refresh the page to view the synchronised bank transactions.
