Add notes to quotation

In Yuki, it is possible to manually create a quotation and then send it to your customer by mail or email. Then, if necessary, the quotation can be handled correctly.




To send a new sales invoice to your customer, follow these steps:



Access to draft quotation

To access:

  • click on the Sales icon in the navigation bar
  • click on Quotations
  • then, in the now-opened screen, select the Drafts work list
  • open the quotation you want to prepare for sending by clicking on the subject of the relevant quotation.

AVAILABLE USER ACTIONS

From this screen, a user can:

  • add notes to the quotation
  • save the quotation as 'Ready to send'
  • delete the quotation.


Add notes to quotation

If you want to add comments to a quotation, you can do so in the Notes field. 


This field is intended for internal communication, which means that the notes will not appear on the final quotation sent to customers.


Additional quotation information

In addition to adding notes, you can also view the following details:

  • Created by: this field shows who originally created the quotation, including the date and time of creation.
  • Modified by: here you can see who made the most recent changes to the quotation and when they were made.


You’ll also find the document type and the quotation's internal ID as recorded in Yuki.


Save quotation as 'Ready to send'
To save the opened quotation again as an quotation to be sent, click on the Save as 'Ready to send' button.


Delete quotation

To delete a quotation to be sent, click on the Delete button.


The following message appears on your screen:



Click on the Yes button to actually delete the quotation.
