To send a new quotation to your customer, the following steps must be followed:
- prepare the quotation for sending to the potential customer
- add notes, if necessary
- check and change, if necessary, the quotation date and/or the sending method
- process the quotation in the administration, ensuring that it is actually sent to the potential customer.
Click on the Sales icon in the navigation bar. Subsequently, click on Quotations and then, in the now-opened screen, select the work list Ready to send.
Open the quotation to which you want to add notes by clicking on the subject of that quotation.
The following screen is opened:
From this screen, a user can:
- add notes to the quotation
- save the quotation as 'Ready to send'
- delete the quotation.
Add notes to quotation
If necessary, you can add comments to the quotation in the Notes field.
These notes are internal and will therefore not be shown on the quotation.
In addition, the Created by and Modified by fields allow you to see when and by whom the quotationn was created and/or modified.
This also shows the document type and internal ID of the quotation in Yuki.
Save quotation as 'Ready to send'
To save the quotation again as an invoice to be sent, click on the Save as 'Ready to Send' button.
Delete quotation
To delete a quotation to be sent, click on the Delete button.
In the now-opened message, click on the Yes button to actually delete the quotation.
