All screenshots in the article were taken in the Dutch version of Yuki.

The navigation in Yuki has undergone a number of changes making it look more modern and user-friendly. In addition, as much data as possible in your domain such as your personal data, your settings etc. have been brought together in one place for faster and clearer access.

You will always find this new navigation in the same place in all screens in your domain!

The new navigation consists of:

  • an updated navigation bar on the left-hand side of your screen
  • a handy Search function at the top of your screen (see article How does the Search function work in my domain?)
  • three buttons on the right of your screen:
    • a button that opens the Yuki Store

    • a button that gives you direct access to two basic applications
      • Help with navigation: open an article with a detailed description of the new navigation in Yuki.
      • Give your opinion: give your opinion on the new navigation.

    • a button that opens bookmarks to other pages in your domain

Each user can create his or her own bookmarks in a domain

    • the user button that gives you direct access to your personal profile
Depending on your user rights in the domain, a personal profile is shown (see article Your personal profile within a domain (user button)).

Renewed navigation bar

The renewed navigation bar gives you direct access to:

  • Domains
You can navigate directly to 'My domain', switch to another domain you have access to as a user or search for a domain.
  • Dashboard
From now on, you can always return directly to your Dashboard from any screen in Yuki by using a button with your own navigation logo (to be set by you) (see article Company profile: General tab).
  • Functionalities
Click on one of the functionalities available to you and a submenu will immediately open with all the applications/features you can use.
  • All settings in your domain
These are now categorised and collected in one place!
Think of settings for your domain, your financial data (general ledger accounts, VAT rates, etc.), your sales (invoices and reminders), your integrations with other software (Mollie, Comandi, etc.), other settings such as for your calendar, archive, etc. and, of course, your own user settings.

A handy new setting that has been added is 'Display settings'! If you prefer to work with the smallest possible navigation bar, you can hide the names of the functionalities by setting the density to 'Compact' instead of 'Comfortable'. In addition, you can also adjust the colour of the menu bars by changing the 'Hybrid' theme to 'Dark or 'Light'.
For a detailed description of display settings, see article Display settings

For example, depending on the bundle you have chosen in your domain, your user rights and additional features added to your domain by yourself or your accountant, the following navigation bar will be shown on the left-hand side of your screen:

The next icon represents the functionality that, among other things, allows you to navigate between multiple domains you can access as a user.
