TIP!
The above menu is displayed if there is a debit. In case of a crediting, this menu will contain other options. For example, the option Payment to supplier will change to Refund from supplier. The principle of the option remains the same, only the general ledger account 'Creditors' will now be posted as debit instead of credit.
There are several options:
- You want to post the payment directly to the relevant supplier. Click on the first option in the menu and select the relevant supplier (Contact) in the now-opened screen.
After clicking on the Save button, the payment is posted directly to the corresponding creditor. - You want to post the payment directly as a refund to a customer. Click on the second option in the menu and select the relevant customer (Contact) in the opened screen.
After clicking on the Save button, the payment is posted directly as a refund to the relevant debtor. - This is a private withdrawal (only for outgoing payments). In this case, there is no point in submitting the invoice. Click on the third option in the menu and, if necessary, specify to whose private or CA account the withdrawal should be posted.
After clicking on the Save button, the withdrawal is posted directly to the private or CA account. - You no longer have the invoice (or receipt). Then click on the fourth option. A screen is displayed where the correct general ledger account, contact and VAT code can be selected. In addition, you can optionally link another project or change the linked project.
After clicking on the Save button, the payment is recorded directly in revenue or costs.
