Multiple administations can exist within a single Yuki domain. The “Access control” feature allows you to precisely determine which users are authorized to work in which administrations.
Adding additional users to a domain is only available if a user with the 'Management' role has selected the Medium, Large, or Unlimited package via the Yuki Store within that domain.
How does Access control work?
You can grant or deny a user’s access to a specific administration at any time. This is useful, for example, if you want a project manager to see only the figures for a specific administration.
ATTENTION!
A user with the ‘Back office’ (Self-accounting) role in the domain has access to all administrations, regardless of the access control settings for that user.
Role Inheritance
When you grant a user access to an administration, all of that user’s roles (and the associated permissions) become active immediately within that administration. Therefore, you cannot assign different roles to the same user for each administration.
Who manages access?
Only a user with the ‘Management’ role can use the ‘Access control’ feature to grant or deny a user access to an administration.
TIP!
When creating a new administration, always check the access control settings immediately to prevent users from unintentionally viewing the new data.
