Example of bank inconsistency

Search for bank inconsistency

Go through the following steps:

  • Calculate the difference between 10605.61 - 10578.62 = 26.99 euros (duplicate transactions?).
  • Open the statement 28001 and 27701, both indicate that the transaction lines come from the same MT940 file named 545404703.txt.

  • Click on Click here for more information, in the now-opened statement there is an unimported transaction line with an amount of 26.99 euros and that is exactly the amount we are missing:

    07-10-2011 28001 DEPOSIT PER ACCOUNT 123456789 T.N.V. company name INTERIM SERVICES 26.99

The reason this transaction was not imported by Yuki is that a transaction line is present on 7-07-2011 with the same description:

CLOSING PER ACCOUNT 123456789 T.N.V. company name INTERIM SERVICES.

Action to be taken

Import the statement line with 26.99 euro.

ATTENTION!

Click on the red triangle with the exclamation mark at the top left of the screen to have the bank inconsistency recalculated.

The bank inconsistency is now resolved!
