Link one or more bank accounts to Ponto (Entrepreneur)

Ponto enables all bank accounts to be securely and reliably linked to Yuki according to PSD2 and GDPR regulations,


Only a user with the 'Management' role can link one or more bank accounts to Ponto, reauthorise a linked bank account or disconnect the link of bank account(s).


Only the account holder of a bank account can authorise (grant Yuki access) and link the relevant bank account in Ponto


Each bank account authorised in Ponto (grant Yuki access) costs €1.00 per month.


ATTENTION!

Bank accounts from multiple domains in Yuki can be linked to one Ponto account.


Once a bank account is linked to Ponto, all bank transactions of the relevant bank account (including opening and closing balances) are automatically added to the administration every day.


Only payment accounts can be linked through Ponto. Once a bank account is linked, the transactions of that day are automatically retrieved. Thereafter, bank transactions will be retrieved every 6 hours by automatic synchronisation of the bank account.


ATTENTION!

  • All bank accounts you want to link to Ponto must be linked one by one.

    So if you want to link more than one bank account to Ponto, complete the linking process of the first bank account completely in Yuki. This means that during the linking process in Ponto, you select only the bank account you want to link at that time.

    Then, in Yuki, click on the Connect button behind the next bank account you want to link.

  • We advise against linking foreign currency payment accounts at this stage

  • A simultaneous linking of a bank account to Ponto and with one of the four accounting links Rabobank, ABN AMRO, ING or Knab will cause duplicate transactions in the administration!

    The relevant accounting link must be discontinued.

    When you want to link a bank account to Ponto that is already linked via the ABN AMRO, ING, Rabobank or Knab accounting link, the following message appears on the screen, in this example of an ING account:


    Follow the instructions on the screen to disconnect the relevant accounting link.


All configured settings such as the settings of your personal preferences, among others, are grouped and categorised in one place in your domain..


Open your domain's settings by clicking on the Settings icon in the navigation bar and then in the now-opened screen, click on Ponto PSD2 links in the Banks section. 


The following screen is opened:



From this screen, a user can:

  • link one or more bank accounts to Ponto
  • if necessary, reauthorize a linked bank account
  • disconnect bank account(s).

Link bank account(s) to Ponto

Hover your mouse over the line of the bank account you want to link to Ponto and click on the Connect button.



In the screens below, a new Ponto account is created and then an ING bank account is linked to Ponto.



ATTENTION!

When 'EXPERIMENTAL' is shown after a bank, it means that Ponto does not currently have sufficient information to guarantee that the linking will work properly.


In the now-opened screen, find and select the bank where the bank account to be linked is opened:



The following screen is opened:



Enter your email address and then click on the Continue button.


In the now-opened screen, enter your personal details:



Then click on the Continue button.


The following screen is opened:



Enter the verification code you received in your mailbox. Then click on the Verify my email button.


The following screen is opened:



Acknowledge that you have read the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Statement and then give your consent by clicking on the I give consent to Ponto button.


Then follow the steps in your Online Banking environment to grant access to Ponto. 


ATTENTION!

Only select the bank account you currently want to link. If you want to link more than one bank account to Ponto, complete the linking process of the first bank account completely. Then, in Yuki, click on the Connect button behind the next bank account you want to link.


In the now-opened screen, click on the slider for the bank account you want Ponto to access and then click on the Confirm button.

In Yuki, the screen below is opened automatically:



You can retrieve past transactions immediately if required. This can also be done at a later date.


TIP!

We recommend retrieving past bank transactions by year, e.g. first the bank transactions from August to December 2023 and then all bank transactions from 2024.

The bank account linked to Ponto now has the 'Connected' status.



ATTENTION!

The bank account number may not be changed in Yuki after the bank account is linked to Ponto.


Reauthorize linked bank account

Every 6 months, the authorization of a linked bank account in Ponto must be renewed. The expiry date of the authorization is shown in the Expires on column.


The accountant has the option to send a message to all users in the domain to remind them to reauthorize a linked bank account.


One month before the due date, the status of the bank account will change to Expires soon and the Reauthorize button will appear in the line of the corresponding bank account. Click on this button and go through the instructions in the Ponto screens.  


ATTENTION!

Only the account holder(s) of the bank account(s) can reauthorize the linked bank account(s).


After successfully reauthorizing the linked bank account, a notification will appear in your screen that the bank account has been reauthorized and the status of the bank account will then change back to Connected after a few moments.


ATTENTION!

All users in the domain will automatically receive a reminder in the Yuki Assistant app and in the PO Box one month, ten days and one day before the due date and on the day of the due date. In addition, an email is also automatically sent to all users.


The Ponto account holder will also automatically receive two emails from Ponto two weeks before the due date and on the day of the due date.


Disconnect bank account(s)

Hover your mouse over the bank account line whose link you want to disconnect and click on the Disconnect button.



The following message appears on the screen::



From this moment on, the bank account is no longer linked to Ponto.


ATTENTION!

The authorization granted (access to Yuki) by the account holder of the bank account also expires.
