Disclaimer

All screenshots in the article were taken in the Dutch version of Yuki.

After uploading the electronic statement files (with statement lines) from the bank(s) to your domain in Yuki, Yuki then processes them in the financial administration. Bank accounts and/or credit cards are automatically created during this import.

Any accounts, credit cards and online payment providers that are not created during the import of electronic statement files must be created manually by a user with the 'Back Office', 'External Accountant' or 'Management' role.

TIP!

When the accountant has added the Foreign currency feature to the contract of the domain, one or more so-called foreign currency accounts can be created.

Only a user with a 'Back office' role in the domain or the 'Management', 'Financial administration' or 'External accountant' role can view, manually create, change or delete bank accounts.

From this screen, a user can:

  • add a new bank account, credit card or online payment provider
  • view all transactions or statements for an account
  • change the details of a bank account
  • delete a bank account.

Hover your mouse over the Bank icon in the navigation bar and then click on Bank accounts

The following screen is opened:

This screen shows an overview of all business bank accounts, credit cards and/or online payment providers of an administration in a domain. In addition, the balance of internal transfers is also shown.

For a detailed description of internal transfers, see article Suspense accounts.

When an account is no longer used in an administration, remove the check mark for 'Active' from the account details. This means the account is no longer shown in the overview of bank accounts.

You can find all inactive accounts in this overview by selecting the checkbox for Show inactive bank accounts.

The Consistency check column shows any inconsistency in the bank account transactions:

  • Balance not verified: the opening balance of the bank account cannot be verified because it is not present in the submitted bank file
  • Balance is incorrect: bank transactions are missing so the balance probably differs from the actual balance.

Behind each account, you will see the current balance on the day the last transaction (processed in Yuki) took place on the account.
