Transactions and statements of account (Accountant) (Beta)

All screenshots in the article were taken in the Dutch version of Yuki.


From an opened bank account, all transactions and statements from a bank account, credit card or online payment provider can be viewed and the details, if necessary, changed or deleted.


From this screen, a user with the 'Back office' role can:

  • change the account details
  • view a transaction and match it if required
  • view the booking details
  • view the statement
  • delete a transaction (mark as duplicate)
  • delete a bank account.


Hover your mouse over the Bank icon in the navigation bar and then click on Bank accounts.

In the now-opened screen, open the account with its transactions and statements by:

  • clicking on the name of the bank account
    OR
  • moving your mouse above the line of the corresponding bank account, clicking on the button with the three dots and then selecting View from the dropdown menu.


The following screen is opened:



The left part of the screen shows all transactions or statements of the account. In the right part, in addition to the general details of the account, you will also see:

  • if applicable, a notification of any bank inconsistency that may be present

    ATTENTION!

    A banner will be shown at the top of the screen if an inconsistency is present. To resolve this bank inconsistency as soon as possible, check for missing or duplicate transactions. Click on Read more to read an article on the cause and solution of various bank inconsistencies in Yuki.


  • whether or not the account is linked to Ponto


    TIP!

    You can always check the most recent account balance by clicking on the Refresh link.

  • whether or not a Collection ID has been entered.


TIP!

Click on the link behind GL account or Office to view in more detail the details of the GL account or the office where the account is administered, respectively.


Views

You can also specify in this screen that the Statements view should be shown:




Change account details

To change the details of an opened account, click on the Edit button at the top right of the screen.


The following screen is opened:



Change the relevant details and then click on the Save button.

View transaction

To view a specific transaction, hover your mouse over the line of that transaction, click on the button with the three dots, and then select View transaction from the dropdown menu.



The following screen is opened:



Match the transaction, if possible, with the corresponding document.


View booking details

To view the details of the booking, hover your mouse over the line for that transaction, click on the button with the three dots, and then select View bokking details from the dropdown menu.

Click on the Close button to close the booking details screen.


View statement

To view the statement containing the transaction, hover your mouse over the line of that transaction, click on the button with the three dots, and then select View statement from the dropdown menu.

Delete transaction

To delete a transaction, hover your mouse over the line for that transaction, click on the button with the three dots, and then select Delete from the dropdown menu.



The following screen is opened:



Click on the Delete button to actually delete the transaction and thereby mark it as duplicate.


The following message appears on the screen:



TIP!

A transaction marked as duplicate can be found by clicking on the Bank icon in the navigation bar and then clicking on Electronic statements.

In the now-opened screen, click on the Duplicate lines button and then select the year in which the transaction occurred.



If necessary, the transaction marked as duplicate can be re-imported by clicking > for the transaction and then clicking on the Import button.


Delete bank account

An account can only be deleted if there are no transactions or documents associated with the account

To delete an account, click on the Delete button.



The following message appears on the screen:



Click on the Delete button to actually delete the account.


ATTENTION!

If the account is linked to Ponto, the connection to Ponto must first be disconnected before the account can actually be deleted.


The following message appears on the screen:



Click on the Go to Ponto button to disconnect.
