This view shows the analytical transactions posted to a specific GL account and assigned to a value within the analytic view based on an allocation rule or manually.
Only a user with the ‘Portal administrator’, ‘Portal back office’, ‘Management’, ‘Financial administration’ or ‘External accountant’ role can view the transactions by GL account.
From this screen, a user with the role ‘Portal administrator’ or ‘Portal back office’ can:
- assign a transaction to another value or allocation key
- view a transaction.
ATTENTION!
A transaction that has not yet been assigned to a value appears as a value “To be assigned” in the Value column.
Access to GL account
To access:
- click on the Financials icon in the navigation bar
- in the now-opened screen, click on Analytic accounting
- in the now-opened screen, select the analytical view tab
- click on the View report... button
- click on one of the three reports in the dropdown menu
- then on the line of the corresponding GL account, click on the amount in the month, value, dimension, total, etc. column to view the transactions at the GL account level.

The Value filter allows you to have the analytic transactions of one or more values shown. In the screenshot above, the number ‘4’ behind the filter indicates that currently the overview shows the transactions of four different values.
In the Value column, you can see to which analytic value the transaction was assigned manually or based on an allocation rule.
Click on the subject to view a transaction down to the document level.
Document viewer
Click on the relevant invoice line and then on the Show / Hide button (icon with a right / left arrow) to show or hide the document preview on the screen.

Additionally, in the document viewer you can:
- open the document in the browser (square icon with a top-right arrow)
- download the document (cloud icon with a down arrow).
Assign transaction to different value or distribution key
Hover your mouse over the line of the transaction in question, click on the button with the three dots and then click on Assign.

Hover your mouse over the line of the transaction in question, click on the button with the three dots, and then click on View transaction.
