A value is a category to which you can assign the analytical transactions that fall within your scope.
Values in example analytic view 'Revenue and costs by department':
- Sales department
- Purchasing department
- Administration department
- Support department.
ATTENTION!
If you want to work with dimensions (labels) within your analytic view to generate more advanced reports, you must link a value to at least one option of a dimension for each dimension used.
For a detailed description, see the article Manage dimensions.
Only a user with the 'Portal administrator', 'Portal back office', 'Management', 'Financial administration' or 'External accountant' role can create one or more values.
