To generate more advanced views, you can attach a dimension as a label to a value.
Within each dimension, a label and at least one option must be defined.
Example dimensions and options:
- Label: Department
Options: Sales, Purchasing, Administration and Support.
Only a user with the 'Portal administrator', 'Portal back office', 'Management', 'Financial administration' or 'External accountant' role can activate one or both dimensions.
To set up analytical accounting, the following steps must be completed:
- Create analytic view
- Create scope
- Manage dimensions (for more advanced views)
- Create value
- Create distribution key (distribute revenue and/or costs across multiple values)
- Create allocation rule.
A dimension can be activated from different places in Yuki:
- Click on the Manage dimensions link in the blue banner
- Click on the Financials icon in the navigation bar and then click on Analytical accounting.
In the now-opened screen, select the tab of the analytic view for which you want to activate one or both dimensions and click on the Go to dashboard button.
In the now-opened screen, click on the More actions button and then click on Manage dimensions in the dropdown menu.
The following screen is opened:
Activate a dimension and then enter the label name and option. More than one option can be defined within each dimension.
Then click on the Save button.
ATTENTION!
After deactivating a dimension, all labels of the corresponding values are removed.
