With the Yuki Hours feature, your employees can record billing hours on customers or projects and you can use them to create invoices for customers after assessment and approval. This feature also contains various overviews to monitor the registration of the hours and the time spent by the employees.

TIP!

From the 'Hours worked' overview, the registered hours of a specific week, month or year can be exported as a CSV file.

This feature can only be added in the bundle Small, Medium, Large and Unlimited by a user with the 'Management' role as an additional feature via the Yuki Store in the domain.

Yuki Hours is integrated into the Calendar functionality.

ATTENTION!

A user with the 'Back office' role in the domain can only:

  • View and export the 'Hours worked' overview as a CSV file
  • View and export 'Activities' overview as a CSV file
  • View the 'Work types' overview and create new work types.

Below is a description of the possibilities of Yuki Hours and an explanation of how you can use this feature.

How does it work?

In order to be able to register and invoice hours in Yuki, the following matters must be arranged:

Create work types

Through the work types you create various types of hour registrations. Each work type may or may not be billable and each work type is linked to its own sales item (which is linked to a GL account).

Register hours (new activity)

Through a new activity, you choose a work type and record the hours.

In the 'Hours worked' overview you can view all weekly and monthly reports per employee. In the overview 'Activities' you see all hours grouped by contact (customer) and project.

Invoicing of activities

The 'Invoicing activities' feature allows you to approve both billable and non-billable work (if you have the right rights as a user).

An invoice is immediately created for approved billing activities (but not yet processed and sent). All activities with the same work type and the same project become one line on the invoice.

The created invoices can still be viewed, adjusted and sent separately from the 'Invoices ready to be sent' overview in the Sales functionality.

Add hour specification

You can set a time specification to be added to each hour invoice. This is a simple overview of the date, description and number of hours of each activity invoiced per work type.
