Create new activity

You can register hours by completing an activity.


TIP!

From the 'Employee hours' overview, the recorded hours of a specific week, month or year can be exported as a CSV file. 


A user with the 'Back office' role in the domain cannot create new activities.


Hover your mouse over the Calendar icon in the navigation bar and then click on New activity under Actions.


The following screen is opened:



Select a work type. The following screen is opened:



  • Description: enter a description. This is visible for each activity in the overview 'Invoice activities'.
  • By: by default, an activity is created for yourself. If necessary, select another employee here.
  • Date: choose a date.
  • Employee hours: enter the number of hours (or minutes or days).
  • From - to is a calculation tool (example: 09:00 – 11:45 is 2.75 hours or 165 minutes).
  • Project: select the project to which this activity must be linked.
  • Contact: Choose a contact by clicking on the magnifying glass.
    If necessary, first create the contact.
    If you have not chosen a contact, you can only find the activity under Report-> Activities under “(no contact) ”.
    Then click on the arrow in front of for the activity (>) to still choose a contact.
  • Document: attaching a document from the Archive is optional and is only added to the relevant activity, not to the final invoice.
  • Attach file)s): add a file to this activity by selecting it from your computer
  • Comments: add notes to this activity if necessary
  • Tags: select a tag for this activity, this way the activity can be found more easily.
