Draft quotations

All screenshots in the article were taken in the Dutch version of Yuki.


In Yuki you can view a work list of all quotations that have been created but cannot or should not be sent to your customers.


These draft offers can still be adapted and saved.


TIP!

All draft quotations can also be found in the folder Sales, Quotations tab in the Archive.


From this work list, a user can:

  • change a draft quotation
  • prepare one or more draft quotations for sending to customers
  • view the document
  • view the contact
  • delete one or more draft quotations.


Hover your mouse over the Sales icon in the navigation bar, click on Quotations and then in the now-opened screen, select the Drafts work list from the dropdown menu.


The following screen is opened:




Change draft quotation

In the work list, click on the subject of the draft quotation that you want to change before, for example, preparing it for sending to your customer. 


The following screen is opened:



After changing the details of the draft quotation, it can be saved as a draft quotation (in the 'Drafts' work list) by clikcing on the Save as draft button or prepared to be sent (in the 'Ready to send' worklist) by clicking on the Save button.


To view a screen preview of the changed draft quotation and, if required, process the quotation directly in the administration, click on the Next button.


Prepare draft quotations for sending

Select the draft quotations from the work list you want to prepare for sending to your customers. Then click on Ready to Send at the top of the screen. 



The quotations disappear from the work list ‘Drafts’ and are moved to the worklist ‘Ready to send'.


TIP!

To prepare one quotation for sending , hover your mouse over the line of the relevant quotation and click on the Ready to send button.



The quotation disappears from the ‘Draft’ work list and is moved to the ‘Ready to send 'work list.


View document

  • Click on the subject of the document

    OR

  • Hover your mouse over the line of the relevant quotation, click on the button with the three dots and then select the View document menu option from the dropdown menu.


In the now-opened screen, the draft quotation can be changed and then saved as a draft quotation or prepared for sending.


View contact

Hover your mouse over the line of the relevant quotation, click on the button with the three dots and then select the View contact menu option from the dropdown menu.



The contact card of the relevant contact is now opened.


Delete draft quotations

Select the draft quotations in the work list you want to remove from your administration. Then click on Delete at the top of the screen.



The following message appears in your screen:



Click on the Delete button to actually delete the selected draft quotations.


TIP!

To delete one quotation, hover your mouse over the line of the relevant quotation, click on the button with the three dots and then select the Delete menu option from the dropdown menu.
