The BO screen will be opened if you open a domain that you have just created.
The screen in which data of the company profile by means of the administration-wizard should be entered is opened as follows:
- Under Companies you will find the administrations in the domain.
- Click on > in front of the relevant administration name to start entering the company profile of the administration.
- Click on the Edit button in the now-opened screen to enter or change data on the Legal tab.
This tab contains data about the legal form. Dependent on the chosen legal form specific information has to be recorded here like for example shareholders, directors and participations. Hereby the corresponding specific general ledger accounts are created automatically by Yuki.
Legal info about the legal form
- Select the correct legal form. This will have consequences for creating or deactivating specific general ledger accounts.
- When was the company founded? Yuki won't require an opening balance when the start date of the company falls within the first financial year whereof the financial records are kept in Yuki.
- The CoC number is important for the automatic recognition of invoices.
TIP!
- In response to the chosen legal form Yuki will extend the screen with data to be entered about the Shareholders, Directors and Participations. This data needs to be entered after going through the seven steps of the administration-wizard.
For a detailed description of entering Shareholders, Directors and/or Participations see article Enter shareholders, directors and/or participations. - For the legal form 'Sole proprietorship' where one owner is entered, it is possible to select the option 'No bank transactions are booked'.
After setting the default value payment type 'From private' for each supplier and/or the payment type 'In private' for each customer, Yuki will automatically post the costs or revenue to the relevant private withdrawals or private deposits ledger account.
Any VAT return with status 'Completed (historical)' or 'Completed' does not need to be matched with a payment as it is automatically posted by Yuki to the relevant private withdrawals or private deposits ledger account.
Customer specific remarks
Here customer specific remarks can be added that are brought to the attention of the back office employee while processing documents and bank transactions. Think hereby of specific instructions or information that can help when processing data for example: 'Company has no company car', 'process fuel receipts on private current account', 'rent a property'.
Administration
If the financial records of only one administration are kept in the domain this administration will automatically be the default administration. Is there more than one administration present in the domain then documents sent to the email address of the domain will be placed in the workflow of the default administration.
