A new task can be created from several places in Yuki:
- Hover your mouse over the Calendar icon in the navigation bar, click on Tasks, then in the now-opened screen, click on the Task button
- Hover your mouse over the Calendar icon in the navigation bar, then click on New task.
The following screen is opened:
Select the type of task you want to create. the following screen is opened:
Description
Here you enter the name of the task.
Task for
By default, the name of the task creator is entered here. Clicking on the 'clipboard' below the field opens the task list. You assign the new task to another user by selecting it.
The Send this task back to me after completion option is added to the screen:
Clicking on the clipboard below the field opens the task list for this user. You can also specify here that the assigned task should be returned to the creator after completion by the user.
Start date
As of this date, the task must be performed by the user.
Due date
By this date, the task must be completed (handled) by the user.
Priority
Specify the priority of the task: low, medium, high or urgent.
Project
Link this task to a project by selecting it with the magnifying glass or enter the name of the project which will create the project directly (if the project does not already exist).
Contact(s)
If you want to link the task to a contact, you can enter it here so that you can view all linked tasks at the contact in question from the Contacts functionality.
Document
Link a document from one of the files in Yuki by selecting it with the magnifying glass.
Attach file(s)
Link a file present on your computer by selecting it with the magnifying glass.
Tags
You can also give a task one or more tags.
