At the top of various overviews in Yuki, you will find the advanced period selection. This allows you to quickly switch between views by year, half-year, quarter, or month. The layout of this bar automatically adjusts based on a standard calendar year or a non-standard fiscal year.

Standard calendar year

Non-standard fiscal year (broken financial year, shortened or extended financial year)

Quick navigation (Browse)

You can jump directly forward or backward in time within an overview without opening a menu:

  • Click on the left arrow to go to the previous period of the same species (e.g. from May to April).
  • Click on the right arrow to go to the next period of the same species (e.g. from quarter 1 to quarter 2).

The overview is refreshed immediately after a click.

Select specific period

To manually select a specific period, click on the calendar icon. The period selection screen is opened:

ATTENTION!

The available options on this screen adapt to the selected overview. Not all options are always visible everywhere.

In the most comprehensive form, you can choose from:

  • All years: this completely disables the date filter.
  • A specific year (or specific fiscal year).
  • A semester, quarter, or month.
  • A free date range: where you enter the exact start and end dates yourself.

Work with fiscal year (broken, shortened, or extended fiscal year)

When an administration is set to a different fiscal year, Yuki shows the period selection based on those specific settings. The selection screen takes this into account immediately:

Shortened or extended financial year

If a financial year is shorter or longer than 12 months, the default options for semesters and quarters automatically disappear from the menu, as they are no longer mathematically correct.

Switch to calendar years

Would you prefer to view the figures for a fiscal year according to the regular year count (January through December)? Then click on the 'Switch to calendar years' link at the bottom of the selection screen.
