Through the details (settings) of a domain, a user with the "Portal Administrator" role can shield access to that domain

The screen to view and/or change the settings of a domain is opened as follows:

  • automatically right after creating a new domain
  • In the accountant portal, click on Management and then click on Domains. Then click on the name of the domain.
  • In the accountant portal, click on Management and then click on Domains. Then hover your mouse over the line of the domain in question, click on the button with the three dots, and then select View domain details from the dropdown menu.

The following screen is opened:

Then click on the Edit button behind Domain to shield access to the domain. The following screen is opened:

In the BO access field you set which (office) employees the domain is basically accessible to:

  • All employees
  • Employees in BO domain function: only employees assigned to the domain have access.
  • Employees in BO domain function and Yuki support: only the assigned BO employees and Yuki support employees have access.
This option offers a solution if there are support questions from the domain in question. Only Yuki support can watch, the other office employees cannot.
  • All employees and Yuki support: all BO employees ánd the employees of Yuki support have access.

In practice, one only shields access if the domain contains confidential information that is not intended for the employees of the office. Examples are private domains of partners themselves, the administration of the administrative office or the accountant or publicly sensitive domains.

In that case, select Employees in BO domain function under BO access and then, under BO responsible or BO controller, select the name of the employee who has sole employee access to the domain.

However, all users with the 'Portal administrator' role can (temporarily) open this domain again.
