Import failed. The file format is invalid.
TRMImported file contains non-text symbols
Cause and Solution
The cause is usually a tab or other control characters such as ESC, DLE, STX, FS etc. hidden somewhere in the text.
Using an editor such as Notepad ++, for example, you can locate and delete them using the search function:
- tab = \t
- ESC = \x1B
- DLE = \x10
- STX = \x02
- FS = \x1C
If you use Notepad ++ you can use the 'Edit' menu and then click on the ASCII characters option to see the characters on the right of your screen.
The solution is to remove the tab or other characters, in all probability the file can now be imported.
ATTENTION!
An Excel file with contacts cannot be imported into Yuki.
