Disable two-factor authentication (2FA) in Nmbrs Accounting

Disclaimer

All screenshots in the article were taken in the Dutch version of Nmbrs Accounting.

Any user when logged in to Nmbrs Accounting can disable two-factor authentication at any time from different places in Nmbrs Accounting:

• Accountant:
  • In the accountant portal, click at the top right of your screen on the user button
  • Then click on Account settings
    
    ATTENTION!
    When the portal administrator has set security in the portal, the required two-factor authentication cannot be disabled.
    
    
• Entrepreneur:
  • At the top right of your screen, click on the user button
  • Then click on My profile
    OR
  • Click on the Settings icon in the navigation bar
  • Then, in the now-opened screen, click on My profile in the Personal section.
    OR
  • Click on the Contacts icon in the navigation bar.
  • In the now-opened screen, find and open your own contact card
  • Then click on the Password button.

The following screen is opened:

Click on Disable behind Two-factor authentication.

TIP!

In the event of loss or theft of the mobile phone or if the user has forgotten his or her mobile phone, a user with the 'Management' role can disable two-factor authentication for each user in the domain.
