Translate sales invoice description

In Yuki, it is possible to create English, French or German sales invoices and reminders and/or demands for payment and then send them manually or automatically to your customers.


To create a (recurring) sales invoice in a foreign language, complete the following steps:

  • Translate sales invoice description
  • Create invoice layout
    • If required, translate subject and text of email into English, French or German
  • Record invoice layout for contact
  • Translate 'Heading' field for contact (if placeholder [heading] is used in text of email) 
  • Translate 'Subject' field on sales invoice (if placeholder [Subject] is used in subject and text of email).


Hover your mouse over the Sales icon in the navigation bar. Subsequently, click on Sales items and then, in the now-opened screen, click on the description of the item whose description you want to translate.

Click on the globe behind the Description field (click here for language options).

Translations of the item description can be entered in the fields described below.


After entering the data, click on the Save button to save the translations.


Description (required)

This is the description that can be made visible on the invoice. The description can still be changed while entering the invoice. 


English

Enter the English description of the item here.

If an English invoice layout is chosen, this description will be used.


French

Enter the French description of the item here.

If a French invoice layout is chosen, this description will be used.
