Disclaimer
All screenshots in the article were taken in the Dutch version of Yuki.
Any type of document can be linked to a project in Yuki:
- from the opened document
- from the opened project (only the administrator of the project)
- using the 'Not linked' function.
When spreading/moving an invoice already linked to a project, all transactions remain linked to the project.
Link from opened document
When you click on the Edit button from any open document, you can link the document to a project.
Click on the magnifying glass in the Project field and select a project to link the invoice to that project.
User with a ‘Back office’ role in the domain
User with ‘Management’, ‘Financial administration’ or 'External accountant' role
When you enter a name in the Project field, the project is immediately created (if the project does not already exist). This new project is then accessible by default only to yourself (as manager). As manager you can set the security of the project.
After clicking on the Save button, the document is linked to the project.
Link from opened project
When you, as an administrator, click on the button Upload multiple documents from an opened project, you can link one or more documents to the project.
Specify that the document(s) should be uploaded to the “Handled by Yuki” folder. Then go through the usual steps for uploading documents in Yuki.
Link using the ‘Not linked’ function
Hover your mouse over the Projects icon in the navigation bar and then click on Not linked to link one or more documents to the project.
For a detailed description of the ‘Not linked’ function see article Not linked data to project.
