Email addresses for sending sales invoices

Yuki distinguishes between different types of email addresses:

• Private: Personal email addresses.
• Work: Business email addresses.
• Reminder: Addresses for reminders.
• Invoice: Primarily for sending sales invoices.
• Invoice copy: For sending copies of invoices.
• Other: Other email addresses not used for invoices.

To send a sales invoice, the customer must have an email address of the Invoice, Work, or Private type.

If only an Invoice copy exists, the invoice cannot be sent.

TIP!

To automatically send copies of sales invoices to a contact person, use an Invoice copy email address.

Access to contact email addresses

• click on the Contacts icon in the navigation bar.
• find and open the contact whose email addresses you want to enter and/or change.
• click on Email addresses.

The following screen is opened:

Email address priority

• An Invoice email address takes precedence over all other email address types for sending invoices.
• If an Invoice email address is not available, a Work email address will be used.
• Other email addresses are never used for sending invoices.
  
  

Preference to send invoices to company or private person

Sales invoices can be sent to a:

• Company (without contact person)
• Company (with contact person)
• Private person (individual).

The following describes the order in which Yuki checks the recorded email addresses with the company (and the contact person) or the private individual.

The sales invoices will be sent to the type of email address found first.

Send sales invoice to company (without contact person)

1. Invoice email address of the company
2. Work email address of the company
3. Company's private email address.

Send sales invoice to company (with contact person)

1. Invoice email address of the contact
2. Invoice email address of the company
3. Work email address of the contact person
4. Work email address of the company
5. Contact's private email address
6. Company's private email address.

Send sales Invoice to private person (individual)

1. Invoice email Address
2. Work email Address
3. Private email address.
