Cause of bank inconsistency: duplicate bank charges (ING)

A strange bank inconsistency consists of the duplicate "RC afrekening betalingsverkeer" transactions of the ING bank :

• Transaction of 27-07-2012 was submitted on 03-08-2012 11:22.
• Transaction of 02-07-2012 was submitted on 30-09-2012 13:19.

What the ING does is the following: in the first place the date of the 'RC afrekening betalingsverkeer' transaction' is towards the end of the month but at some point the date is changed and is suddenly at the beginning of the month. Therefore you always have to mark the transaction line whereof the date is towards the end of the month as duplicate because otherwise the same problem will occur after the next upload.

Action to be taken

Mark the transaction of the 27th as duplicate.
