Are you unable to log in to Yuki in your regular browser window, but can do so in a private or incognito window? Then look no further: your browser still has data from your previous Yuki login, and that’s interfering with the new login process.
You can fix this yourself in just a few minutes.
Does this sound familiar?
The symptoms vary by browser, but the cause is the same. All of these situations fall under this category:
- You enter your password, click “Log In,” and the same password screen reappears—without an error message.
- You enter your 6-digit code and are then sent back to the previous step, over and over again.
- You get an error message that doesn’t help you, such as a message with a number like 400 or 404.
- You reach the second step, but nothing happens: no message, no field to enter a code.
- Your password is definitely correct, because if you enter an incorrect password, you do get a message saying it’s wrong.
So it’s not always the same error message. What these cases have in common is that you keep going in circles without doing anything wrong.
Confirmation test
Here’s the test to confirm it: open a private window or incognito window and log in there. If it works there, then this is your situation.
Do you need to get to work right away?
Stay in that private window for now, or use a different browser for a moment. You’ll be able to log in there just fine. The steps below will then resolve the issue permanently.
Why is this happening?
The login process alternates between the Yuki page and Visma’s login system. Along the way, a cookie is stored to remember your login.
If there’s still an old cookie from your previous Yuki login, or if your browser blocks that exchange, the cookie won’t be set. The login process will then start over or get stuck on an error message. In an incognito window, that old data doesn’t exist, which is why it works there.
In Google Chrome
- Open Yuki in Chrome and click the web address icon to the left of the address bar.
- Select “Cookies and site data” and clear the data for this site.
- Close Chrome completely—all windows, not just the tab—and reopen it.
If that still doesn’t work, allow third-party cookies for the two sites in question. Chrome is blocking them more strictly, and the login process requires them.
- Type chrome://settings/cookies into your address bar.
- Find the list of sites allowed to use third-party cookies and add: [*.]visma.com and [*.]yuki.nl
- Close Chrome completely again and try once more.

In Mozilla Firefox
- Open Yuki in Firefox and click the padlock icon to the left of the address bar.
- Select “Clear cookies and site data” and confirm.
- Then click the shield icon to the left of the address bar and turn off “Enhanced tracking protection” for this site.
- Close Firefox completely and reopen it.
This protection is enabled by default in Firefox and blocks data exchange between sites. That’s exactly what the sign-in process requires. You’re only turning it off for Yuki, not for the rest of your browser.

In Microsoft Edge
- Open Yuki in Edge and click the padlock icon to the left of the address bar.
- Open Cookies and site permissions and delete the cookies for this site.
- Close Edge completely and reopen it.
