With the launch of our new validated contact database, the default values and UBL rules at the portal level need to be checked and, if necessary, reactivated.

For a detailed description of the validated contact database see article Validated contact database.

In the background, we have already automatically migrated the existing rules taking into account the validated contact database. This has ensured that the rules are currently deactivated so you can check and reactivate them.

Only a user with the 'Portal Administrator' role can reactivate the default values and/or UBL rules via the pop-up shown in the portal or by going to the portal overview of default values and UBL rules.

ATTENTION!

It is important that you do this as soon as possible, as inactive portal default values or UBL rules will not work.

In the accountant portal, the pop-up below is shown at the top of the screen where you can click Review to go directly to the overview of the deactivated default values and UBL rules.

To reactivate a rule, in the now-opened screen, hover your mouse over the relevant line and click on the button with the three dots. Then select the menu option Activate from the dropdown menu.

You can also click on the Document or Rule link in the Default value column to open the corresponding rule after which you click on the Activate button in the now-opened screen.

Are you getting an error message when activating a default value or UBL rule?

This means that we did not find a correct validated contact during the migration. You can then choose to completely delete and recreate the default value or UBL rule, or to manually search the supplier again.
