Administration profile: Legal form section (Beta)

This section contains information about the legal form. Depending on the legal form chosen, specific information such as shareholders, directors and participations should be recorded here. This also automatically creates the corresponding specific GL accounts in the chart of accounts in Yuki.


Open the domain in which you want to create a new administration and then click on the Settings icon in the navigation bar. Then in the now-opened screen, in the Domain section, click on Companies.


The following screen is always opened in the Default view:



In the upper right corner of the screen, click on the + Company button.


The following screen is opened:



You begin by creating the contact cards of the shareholders, directors and any participations in the domain.


Navigate with your mouse over the Contacts icon in the navigation bar, click on Contacts and then on the + Contact button in the now-opened screen.


For all contacts you want to create, select the appropriate type (person or company) and create the shareholders, directors and any particpations.


Shareholders

You can maintain a register of shareholders in Yuki. Add a new shareholder by clicking on the Add shareholder button.



Select the shareholder and then indicate as of what date how many shares are held. 


Repeat the above for all shareholders in the register.


For each shareholder, the following GL accounts are automatically created in Yuki:

  • Loan to {shareholder} (Assets)
  • Subordinated loan from {shareholder} (Liabilities)
  • Loan from {shareholder} (Liabilities)
  • Interest on loan to {shareholder} (Profit and Loss Account)
  • Interest on loan from {shareholder} (Profit and Loss Account)
  • Revaluation of loan to {shareholder} (Profit and Loss Account).

Directors/Partners/Owner (sole proprietorship)

To assign directors or one or more partners or owners (sole proprietorship) to the company, click on the Add director button.



Select the director/partner/owner.


Repeat the above for all directors/partners/owners of the company.


For each director/partner/owner, the following GL accounts are automatically created in Yuki:

  • A CA {director} GL account is created for each director. 
  • Purchases paid by a director in private are not recorded on the CA Employees but on the CA of the director.
  • If it concerns a sole proprietorship or VOF, all private accounts are created.

Participation interest

You can keep a record of associates and other companies associated with the company in Yuki. Create a new participation by clicking on the Add participation button.



Select the participation, indicate whether it is a group company and enter the percentage of the interest.


A participation is a group company (company group) if a company, together with another company forms an economic unit, so that they are linked in a group or organization. This involves central management.


For each participation, the following GL accounts are automatically created in Yuki:

  • Participating interest {participation}
  • Loan to participating interest {participation}
  • Subordinated loan from participating interest {participation}
  • Loan from participating interest {participation}
  • Interest on loan to participatiing interest {participation}
  • Interest on loan from participating {participation}
  • Revaluation of loan to participating interest {participation}
  • Result participating interest {participation}.



Click on the Next button to save the data entered in this section and continue entering the data in the Other section.
