All bank transactions uploaded to Yuki end up in the 'Bank transactions to be processed' workflow. There can be three situations for the processing of bank transactions

  • IDR has recognised the bank transaction and suggests a match with a payment
  • IDR has recognised the bank transaction but cannot suggests a direct match with a payment
  • IDR did not recognise the bank transaction, so the transaction must be processed manually.


This article describes the third situation.


Every company will have to pay its suppliers. The Payment to supplier action is used to post the payment directly from the bank transaction to the relevant creditor.


Only a user with the 'Back office' role in a domain can process bank transactions in the 'Bank transactions to be processed' workflow.


To start processing bank transactions, open the domain. The Back office workflow screen always opens by default. In this screen, click on the Bank tile to open the Bank transactions to be processed workflow.


In the now-opened screen, click on the > in front of a bank transaction line. The following screen may appear:



Yuki was unable to record a relation or general ledger account for this bank transaction. Because it is a debit and the description says 'invoice', we can assume that this is a payment to a supplier. Now click on the Actions button and then click on Payment to supplier. You will see the following input screen:



You can see that the general ledger account has already been filled in for you. All you need to do now is enter a relation. You can do this in two ways:

  • Enter the name directly. Yuki already gives advice after you have entered more than 3 characters. If there is a black bullet in front of the address, it means that the address is already used in the domain. It is always preferred over an address that has not yet been used in the domain. If the address has not yet been used in the domain there is a white bullet in front of the address.

    TIP!
    For a contact, the city, country (if the country is not the Netherlands) and VAT number are shown if filled in in the relation details.

  • Click on the Search button and then select Local addresses to see which addresses are already in use in the domain. Now enter the contact and then click on the Save button. You will now see the following screen:


    Yuki couldn't find any open transactions for 'Avis (entire Netherlands)'. One reason for this may be that the customer has not yet submitted an invoice from Avis. Yuki recommends checking at least once a month whether any bank transactions remain open in the outstanding creditor list and, if necessary, requesting the invoice from the customer. For now, you can complete the bank transaction. Click on the Completed button which will show the next transaction in the workflow.
